International Justice Forum 2019
The International Association of Judges and International Association for Court Administration held their annual meetings simultaneously for the first time in Nur-Sultan. The Supreme Court of Kazakhstan took the opportunity to organize a joint event - International Justice Forum - on 18 September. Ass. Professor Azar Aliyev was invited to discuss IT-Technologies and the Administration of Justice in the panel discussion.
The massive impact of new technologies on dispute settlement, involvement of IT giants, re-thinking of the role of the state courts and criminalization of the AI-based judgement analysis are just a few topics vividly discussed by experts from IT-companies, courts and academia. The panel was hosted by Mark Beer, President of the IACA.
